𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆

As of Friday, September 8, 2023, Gravity has been fostered with me in MA for the last 1,023 days. Prior to that, he was in TN with his Southern Foster Momma, recovering from back surgery for 5 months.

It is time to 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 find this amazing pup his FURever home. He deserves all the love & happiness this universe has to offer, because he will pay it back ten fold.

While he is paralyzed from the lower back down, he can 𝗥𝗨𝗡 & jump & play bow just like any able bodied dog. Weighing in at 63lbs, he needs some assistance going up stairs & to be carried down stairs. He is fully capable of getting nice and comfy on couches all by himself!

If someone were to ask me what the 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁 part of fostering Gravity is, I’d say feeling like I am always on a set schedule. Ideally, Grav is expressed to pee & poop every few hours. The process of actually expressing him takes about 30 seconds, but in order to make sure that he doesn’t get consistent UTIs, and have accidents (which still happen on his blankets) the more often I can express him the better. I continue to try and live my best life; I go out to dinner with friends, I go to concerts in the city etc, I just plan around Grav. If I have a long day and I know it will be ~6 hours without expressing him, I make sure I’m home the next few days in a row to compensate!

If someone were to say what is the 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 part of fostering Grav I’d say, the amount of joy it brings me to just watch him “dog”. He loves nothing more than carrying a stick down the street for a long walk, running around on the beach & taking a dip, & playing with all his friends. He’s also what I consider a bombproof dog-where he can get along with anyone/anything: person, kids, dogs, cats- you name it. Since I own a dog walking company, I do a ton of dogsitting and I know that I can bring any dog into my home even if Grav hasn’t met them, and he immediately wants to be their best friend.

𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥:

-Works remotely or can get a fantastic dog walker to learn how to express him. -Must have another dog in the home, displays slight SA of left completely alone

-A yard would be A M A Z I N G so he could lay outside the majority of the day

-Someone with patience, compassion & kindness that doesn’t mind doing laundry often

-Errrrr has to maintain his social media for his fans???
